3 Technological Devices I Can't Stay Without

Hello readers!

Some days ago I was tiding up my bedroom and I realized that I have three technological devices that I can't stay without. They were two before January, they became three only 3 weeks ago.

1- My smartphone. My mother gave it as a Xmas present one year ago. I started to use it for my agenda, even if I'm still loving have the paper one in my bag, and for my e-mail. I really found it useful, especially for all my work schedules. Having different shifts I'm not able to remember every single day, so my smartphone helped me a lot.

2- My tablet-pc. Since one month, more or less, I have bought a new tablet-pc and I discovered that it synchronized completely with my smartphone (they are both Microsoft creations) and I found this so wonderful! I can take notes on my Picci (tablet-pc's name) and I will find them on my smartphone, or I can take pictures with my smartphone and then I can adjust them on my Picci. Lots of lovely things, more than I thought! I use it especially for writing, it seems made especially for it. I dreamed Picci for years, but I have never had enough money and now I'm sure it is the best purchase I have never had.

3- My Kindle. I like call it Kinder, like my sister called it the first time she asked me information about it, and I love it because I can bring with me all the books I want without breaking my back because of the excessive weight. It have been my first purchase when I worked in the library almost 3 years ago (many time passed!). I use it a lot, despite I still read some paper books (some emotions are unique!), but I bring Kinder everywhere! I don't know how many books I put in it, maybe 30 or 40, probably 50, in any case, a quantity that I couldn't bring with me with classical books.

Just a Minute in...January

Hello dears!

The new year has started yet, and the first month is winding down. During it there was a little bit of snow that iced and now it's still here. Despite various economic difficulties I've been able to find the occasion of going out with my boyfriend and friends, having a good cup of chocolate at "Falcetto d'Oro" bar or a big dish of Chinese food in our favorite Chinese restaurant. I've also started a new course (obligatory for my job contract) where we talked about happiness and emotional intelligence (during our first lesson).

Playing Character Background #2: Jane, the Brave Student

Hello readers!

Jane was a brilliant undergraduate that have been locked up in a jail because of a bank's theft. While she was in the jail, she had been freed by a werewolf that was chasing her since before the theft. Once she was free, she had been contacted from an unknown person who said her to meet other people in a monastery and there started her adventure that would brought the entire party to fight against the Four Horseman and Lucifer.

Jane was my first Playing Character, thought at school, during French class, and created two days later, with my actually boyfriend the night of my Role Playing Game's first meeting. The RPG was World of Darkness. The common setting is the contemporary era, even if Game Masters can move also in the future (something like cyberpunk style). The precise setting of that campaign was inspired by the fiction "Supernatural": obscure mysteries and a lot of occult.

At the end of the adventure she had to face Pestilence, one of the Four Horseman and it was a fantastic fighting in a disco full of skeletons and zombies.

Game Review: Cards against Humanity

Hello friends!
Cards against humanity is a cruel board game that pull out the worst from people. And is for this reason that I love it.

It's a card game, with two kind of cards: black cards and white cards. Black cards have sentences wrote on them with missing words spaces that can be filled up with words wrote in white cards. The objective of the game is create sentences the most nice or nonsense you're able. And is because of the nonsense that people could be very bastard. On white cards are written words or little sentences like: Justin Bieber, The Rhapsody, Hope, The heart of a child, Adolf Hitler, Being fabulous...and so on (also something a bit vulgar, that I would not write in my blog respecting readers could be more emotionals). On black cards there are small sentences like: "My love, I'm here for...", "I got 99 problems but...ain't one", "...: kid-tested, mother-approved" and other and you have to combine white cards with black cards.

You can find this game for free in the net simply searching the name of the game "Cards against humanity". I played this game in December the 31st with other 6 friends and my boyfriend and it was really funny. More you are and more it is funny!

Film Review: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Hello readers!
Some weeks ago my sister and I went to the cinema watching the new film Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children made by Tim Burton.

The protagonist of the film is a young teenager, Jake, grew up with the strange tales of his old grandfather, Abe. While Abe was tragically dying saied his grandson to go to "the Cairnholm loop of September 3, 1943" and that the "falcon" would have told him everything. Jake decides to go to the current Cairnholm looking for what his grandfather told him. There he finds the loop Abe told him and finds also the children of the orphanage where his grandfather lived for some years. In the orphanage, Jake meets Miss Alma Peregrine, the headmaster of the place, and understand that the she is the "falcon". Miss Peregrine explanes him that he is the only one able to see the Hollows, monsters that feed themselves with peculiar children's eyes.

The film is inspired by the book of the same name that I have read two or three years ago. I found the film accurate to the book and I was really happy of this. It could seems a film also for children, but I think it isn't. There are lots of scenes that a child could not see. After all, we are talking about Tim Burton!
I really liked the film, something strange made by one of the masters of strangeness even if there is a vibe similar to "Alice in Wonderland" made by the same productor.

Anime Review: Sakamoto Desu Ga?

Hello readers!
Today is the moment for the anime Sakamoto desu ga by Deen studio and inspired by the manga with the same name created by Nami Sano.

Sakamoto is a first year student in a highschool. He is very popular and he is believed cool from everyone. Be it halp others, defend the weaks from bullies or escape the resenting schoolmates' traps, Sakamoto is always able to solve problems with absolute class and grace.

The entire anime is very funny. It is composed by only one series, but each episode often consists of 2 little adventures. I can't say anything different from "cool, cooler, coolest!" (I quoted the anime) and really brilliant!

Just a minute in...Decembre

Hello readers!
December have been a tranquil month, full of happiness and lightnings. The Christmas day passed nicely, with my boyfriend and may family, eating and chatting all together. The morning of 31st december I went work and I spent the evening in a friend's new home and all the night with my boyfriend.

READING: "I am legend" by Richard Matheson.
LISTENING: opening and ending theme of animes.
WATCHING: "One punch man" and "Sakamoto desu ga".
BUYING: some new clothes.
LOVING: chocolate! especially the dark type.
WANTING: I could be repetitive, but I want my tablet pc! It's waiting me yet!
FEELING: a little tired, but happy.
