Game Review: Love Nikki
![]() |
| Took from Google Images |
"Love Nikki" talks about fashion. You are a girl who arrived in a strange world where they are always competing for the best dressing suit in each occasion (levels). For each level succesfully completed you always gain money and often you gain something else like tops, bottoms, dresses, accessory and so on. Every day you have a login prize and other rewards based on the events of the moment.
You can also compete against other players in the "Stylist's arena" or in the "Competition". The game give you a theme and you can dress up your avatar in the best way you can. You can use your Facebook profile or you can create one before starting.

Game Review: Fallout Shelter
My boyfriend taught me to love Bethesda games, even if I've never played some of them. The "Fallout" series is one I've never played but I watched my boyfriend play it a lot. Now I downloaded "Fallout Shelter" for my tablet and I'm playing it.
The story of Fallout is inspired by the "Mad Max" films. The USA were nuclearized and people need safe shelters. The Vault Tech Industries created underground shelters where people can enter for being safe. So "Fallout Shelter" let you build your vault and make it grow up with survivors who look for a place to stay. All in all the game is really nice. It starts simpler at the beguinning and it becomes hader the most you go on. Building your vault you have also to produce resurces for people like food, energy and water. And you have also to keep alive the survivors who you can equip with armors and weapons they find exploring the wasteland or you received completing quests.
In my opinion, it's te best city builder I've ever played. Its variety of activities from the city management to the exploration mode is its strongest power. It isn't boring, especially when riders or beasts attack the Vault. I like also the wanderful assistant that suggests you the best way for manage your Vault.
Do you know the game? Have you ever played one of the Fallout games? Did you like them? What do you think about Fallout Shelter? Is it enough good for its fathers? Leave comments and let me know something about your Fallout expeprience.

Game Review: The Elder Scrolls: Legends
![]() |
| Picture took from Google. |
It's a free-to-play video game with the possibility of buying something directly from the game store. You can play by yourself with the story mode where is included the tutorial. You can play also with friends or with other players.
How does it work? It works like "Hearthstone", another on-line card game. You have your deck, took from the base ones or created by yourself. There are various kind of cards that we can divide into: creatures, spells and cards that influence the field.
Differently from "Hearthstone", in Skyrim the field is splitted in four zones: two for you and two for the opponent. They can be affecded separately by different terrein effects that aren't included in cards effects. Creatures can act only in the zone where they are setted. However, other cards can act in all the zones.

In my opinion, it is a good game. The ones who have played the video game "The Elder Scrolls" should play at least the story mode, it's really nice. It will be certainly improved in future, so...everybody, let's play!
Have a nice weekend!

Multi-playing: from past to present
Hello readers!
Some days ago, my boyfriend and I were talking about how Internet changed gamers lives and while we were talking about he inspired me this post.
Till some years ago, if people wanted to play with friends they had to go to their friend's home and play. Sitting on the sofa or on the carpet, chatting or arguing because of "you won, it's unfair!" (obviously, nicely). And if people were more than two in front of the same game, they had to wait their moment to play, because older consoles had only two joysticks, like Nintendo or PS1.
Than came Internet and all changed. If people want to play together have only to send a message to their friends and start to play. Each one sitting on their chairs, in front of their computers and, probably, with a pair of earphones on their head. This is the modern way for multi-playing. And what about chatting? There are a lot of kind of chats today, but can be said that is really better than before?
Talking about playing together, I like modern multi-player games, I play a lot, but I'm a bit nostalgic of meeting together with friends and making a lot of noise in living rooms. And I miss also parents who was always scolding us for the noise.
And you? What do you think about? Feel free to leave comments below!
Have a nice week.

Playing Characters Backgrounds #1: Rilka, the Mutagenic Barbarian
Hello readers!
I want start a new sequence of posts where I describe the best PCs (Playing Characters) I created for the RPGs (Role Playing Games) I play with my boyfriend and friends.
The first PC I will describe you is Rilka, the mutagenic barbarian. She was one of the strongest and bravest warriors of her halfling's clan (halfling=race of the RPGs D&D and Pathfinder similar to the Tolkien's hobbits). One day, while she was fighting for her family against a group of soldier she was captured and brought in an alchemist's laboratory. There she was used as a guinea pig for a new kind of mutagen (a potion that changes the person who drink it) and when she came back to her family after being escaped from the laboratory, the clan refused her because of the new powers the alchemists gave her. At that point she went away deciding to live by herself for the rest of her life. And just then she was called by the ministers of the Gods of the world for a special mission.
Rilka is a 12th lv (12th level) barbarian from the Pathfinder RPG. When I created her, I chose the variation of the classical barbarian called "mutagenic rager". Basically, the barbarian class has a special ability called "rage" that let the PC empower his/her phisical scores (Strengh, Dexterity and Constitution). The variation I chose (mutagenic rager) mixes this special ability with the alchemist's one creating special potions that changes the ability of the person who drink it. Creating a PC, players have to choose also the personality, so the allignment of the character. Rilka started as a Chaotic Neutral (CN; someone who do not like law and do good and evil actions equally) and finished as a Chaotic Evil (CE; someone who do not like law and do mainly bad actions, for his/her personal entertainment). Someone of you will ask "Why this changing?", because at the end of the adventure Rilka and her companions had to face five enemies too strong for them, so they had to decide if die or live. Rilka and another companion decided to live, so they sided with the five enemies. Before this strange ending, the outcome of Rilka's creation was a wonderful and powerful warrior.
I hope you liked this post and, please, let me know in the comments below if you want read other backgrounds.
Thank you for reading and following.
Have a nice week.

Game review: Zombicide
It's a bit of time I didn't write posts...I'm really, really sorry. In the last weeks I have been very buisy, especially at work. But I finally found a little time for write a post, only for you!
Two weeks ago I met with some friends for a "tranquil" game at Zombicide. It's one of my favourite board-games. When we play all together we laugh a lot.

| Grey miniatures=zombies; coloured miniatures=our characters. |
Last time I played this game it has been a "tranquil" game, even if...we had to restart it a second time because we failed the mission the firs time in only 2 turns. But the second game was better. Our mission was to collect 4 pieces in 4 different buildings and we have been succesful: we collectied all the pieces and we staied alive.

Game review: Relic
NAME: Relic
PLAYERS: from 2 to 4 (6 with the expansion)
QUOTE: 9
Hello everybody! How are you?
Today I'm going to talk about "Relic", a boardgame set in the universe of Warhammer 40.000 in which you assume the role of powerful heroes.
It's an adventure game based on the foundations of "Talisman" system: on each turn, a player rolls a single six-sided die before moving playing piece that number of spaces clockwise or counter-clockwise around the region of the board it currently occupies (outer, midder or inner). That player then drow a card o cards to see what he has encountered, pitting his heroic persona against foul enemies, dangerous locations and fantastic strangers. All the while, heroes rise in power, as thery work their way toward the ultimate goal at the centre of the board.
The first time I played this game I was so enthusiastic that I was always looking foreward to play again and again. It is fantastic. Now, my boyfriend gave us this board game as a present do our anniversary.

My new passion
Hi friends!
Two monthes ago I descovered a new passion hanging out with friends. This new passion is called "Magic" and it is a cards game. It's really funny.
At the beginning I plaied only with my boyfriend, but now I also play with friends. I started with some old cards my sister gave me many years ago and now I'm buying new cards every month creating new decks. This game is a nice way to stay out with friends in our favourite bar-comics shop in front of a good cap (or glass) of tea.
