Hello readers!

February had been a beautiful month, busy and rich of ideas for starting projects!
First of all, I decided to study hard for pass the First Certificate English at level B2 and second I will study hard also for pass the Microsoft Office Specialist exams. These are two important projects for me because they are part and parcel of my two best skills: languages and information technology.
In addition, this month I spent a week in completely relax. I refused any schedule and I did only the things I liked. That week I also started study the song I will play at the music school year-end concert: the main theme of Skyrim (my favorite video-game).
READING: information about FCE.
LISTENING: anime's opening and ending songs.
WATCHING: "Bram Stoker's Dracula".
BUYING: a tasty lunch at my favorite sushi restaurant.
LOVING: the weather and projecting the future.
WANTING: I want my FCE and MOS certificate.
FEELING: I feel very excited!

A Week of Time Off

Hello my dear readers! How are you?

This week I had a bit of time off and I had been more busy than when I work (laugh), but it has been very funny and relaxing.
Monday was a chilling out day. In the morning my boyfriend and I met at our friend's home for a huge breakfast and then I brought him to a job interview (he hasn't got a car actually). While he was having the job interview I stayed in the car, with my trusty Kinder (the kindle), reading "I am legend" (completely absorbed by the story) relaxed on the seat of the car and having a look out of the panoramic car window sometimes. When Diego came back to the car we had a long and restful lunch at our favorite chines restaurant: appetizer, first course, second course and dessert. We spent the afternoon chatting about this and that and drinking hot green and rooibos teas. In the night, we met with our friends for our weekly session of Dungeons&Dragon (extraordinarily moved on that night because Tuesday was St. Valentine's day and there were some girlfriends that would have killed their boyfriends if they didn't stay together).

On Tuesday I had to participate to the weekly class for my apprenticeship all the day and after dinner I took the early night hours for me, reading curled up in my sweet white blanket.

Wednesday morning I went to the open-air market of Schio, a city near home, and after lunch I went to the hairstylist. Later I gave one hour of English private lesson.
Thursday was the anniversary of my boyfriend and mine. We had lunch at our favorite sushi restaurant, having a big feast of the best sushi we've ever ate. We stayed together for all the afternoon and then we cooked together the dinner for us and my father: gnocchi with salami pasta (delicious!). I stayed at my boyfriend's home for the night.
Friday morning I came back home for lunch and in the afternoon I had my weekly violin lesson where I started studying the songs for the little year-end's concert. In the evening I left home again for reach my sister's house. We ate together and we watched one of our favorite films: "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (it's always beautiful, even if you watched it lots of times).

I slept there and on Saturday morning I followed my sister and her boyfriend in their commissions. I stayed there until 6 pm and then I came back home for dinner. That night I was so tired that I had to go to sleep very early!

Sunday morning I woke up early and I had a rich and delicious breakfast with the Krapfen my mother cooked and then I went to the annual dinner with all my relatives. For the afternoon my boyfriend and I went to the comics' fair in the city near my little home town. The evening we ate a delicious sundae and the night I stayed home, watching "Van Helsing" and writing.
How was your week? What did you do?
Hope you enjoyed my post and wish you a beautiful week!
Love

3 Technological Devices I Can't Stay Without

Hello readers!

Some days ago I was tiding up my bedroom and I realized that I have three technological devices that I can't stay without. They were two before January, they became three only 3 weeks ago.

1- My smartphone. My mother gave it as a Xmas present one year ago. I started to use it for my agenda, even if I'm still loving have the paper one in my bag, and for my e-mail. I really found it useful, especially for all my work schedules. Having different shifts I'm not able to remember every single day, so my smartphone helped me a lot.

2- My tablet-pc. Since one month, more or less, I have bought a new tablet-pc and I discovered that it synchronized completely with my smartphone (they are both Microsoft creations) and I found this so wonderful! I can take notes on my Picci (tablet-pc's name) and I will find them on my smartphone, or I can take pictures with my smartphone and then I can adjust them on my Picci. Lots of lovely things, more than I thought! I use it especially for writing, it seems made especially for it. I dreamed Picci for years, but I have never had enough money and now I'm sure it is the best purchase I have never had.

3- My Kindle. I like call it Kinder, like my sister called it the first time she asked me information about it, and I love it because I can bring with me all the books I want without breaking my back because of the excessive weight. It have been my first purchase when I worked in the library almost 3 years ago (many time passed!). I use it a lot, despite I still read some paper books (some emotions are unique!), but I bring Kinder everywhere! I don't know how many books I put in it, maybe 30 or 40, probably 50, in any case, a quantity that I couldn't bring with me with classical books.

Well, these are my three technological devices that I can't stay without. What about yours? Tell me which are your three (or more if you have more!) technological devices you can't stay without in the comments below.

Have a nice week!
Love

Just a Minute in...January

Hello dears!

The new year has started yet, and the first month is winding down. During it there was a little bit of snow that iced and now it's still here. Despite various economic difficulties I've been able to find the occasion of going out with my boyfriend and friends, having a good cup of chocolate at "Falcetto d'Oro" bar or a big dish of Chinese food in our favorite Chinese restaurant. I've also started a new course (obligatory for my job contract) where we talked about happiness and emotional intelligence (during our first lesson).
READING: posts on bloglovin'
LISTENING: the OST of the film "300"
WATCHING: the new film "Miss Peregrin's House for Peculiar Children"
BUYING: my wonderful little tablet-pc
LOVING: the landscapes of the place where I live
WANTING: for the moment I'm pleased so
FEELING: well improved

Have a beautiful weekend!
Love
Emily
